What to know about Hughes
The Canadian golfer, who won the 2011 and 2012 Canadian Amateur Championship, is a two-time winner in the PGA Tour including the 2016 RSM Classic.
Hughes won the RSM Classic to become the first Canadian-born golfer to win on the PGA Tour since Nick Taylor at the 2014 Sanderson Farms Championship.
The 2013 PGA Tour Canada Order of Merit winner also became the first Canadian to win a non-alternate event since Mike Weir at the 2007 Fry's Electronics Open.

Hughes participated in the 2023 Fortinet Championship in Georgia, USA where he finished 52nd in what was the most recent event on the 2022/23 PGA Tour schedule.
The 2016 Price Cutter Charity Championship winner is currently ranked 96th on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) and his best ranking is 39th.

Hughes is a clear favourite to win the tournament due to the fact that he won last year's event at the same venue, the Country Club of Jackson.
The North Carolina-based golfer birdied the second playoff hole to seal an impressive victory and he will be looking to replicate the same form this weekend.
